Purpose and Scope
: - Responsible for directing multiple simultaneous projects to include selection, coordination, installation and budgeting of all decorative elements for domestic shop environments.
Give creative direction for interior decoration of Ralph Lauren store/renovation projects
Responsible for direction, management and development of project managers
Forge relationships with internal senior management, Domestic & International Retail business partners and Creative Services partners, to manage project scope
Partner with architecture/store design team on space design
Handle on-site installations
Source and select decorative items
Negotiate costs with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost effectiveness.
Oversee project budgets and partner with finance to resolve any issues.
Bachelors Degree in interior design or equivalent preferred
8-10 years experience in interior design and/or store development, preferably in luxury retail or high-end residential firm
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external business partners
Ability to read and understand architectural/construction drawings and draft and draw space/floor layouts
Ability to direct projects consistent with Ralph Lauren aesthetic.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office
