Role Description The Associate will immediately become an important contributor to Oak Street Health by providing support to all real estate, construction, and facilities projects. This role spans multiple parts of our organization and encompasses the execution of new construction and renovation projects as well as providing maintenance and operational support to all existing locations. It provides a great opportunity for independent self-starters to see many different parts of the business and support high impact, high visibility projects for our staff. The ideal candidate will be motivated by Oak Street Health\u2019s mission to become a leader in value-based primary care for underserved populations. He\/She will have the ability to work under tight deadlines, troubleshoot problems, and take a detail-oriented approach to project planning. Specific responsibilities include: Assisting and or manage new clinic construction and build-out Ensuring a safe and productive work environment for our patients and staff Works as part of the Project Team, assisting with the development of scope Ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget Communicating project schedule and progress to internal Oak Street Health teams Coordinating with team members as necessary to ensure successful Day 1 launch Setting up utilities and business licenses for new sites Coordinating and following through on requests for facilities team assistance Collaborating with site managers on facility changes\/upgrades Ensuring exceptional customer service to staff and patients Provide superior client service Special projects as assigned Essential Functions: Support project executives on complex projects and assignments. Ability to manages projects in excess of $300K Proactively manage project-related issues. Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects. Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP\u2019s. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation. Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors Prepare\/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials. Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting company and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Ensure accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by corporate finance, account finance team and\/or the Real Estate Director. Comply with all Oak Street Health policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice. What we\u2019re looking for We\u2019re looking for motivated professionals with: Bachelor\u2019s degree: in Architectural or Construction related discipline preferred 3-5 years of professional experience: in project management of commercial or interior construction preferred Experience with real estate projects or property management a plus A problem-solving orientation and a focus on getting results Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization Excellent communication and customer service skills Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office, Google docs) A car (work related driving expenses will be reimbursed) Why Oak Street?
