AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented mid-level Landscape Architecture for immediate employment in the Chelmsford, Massachusetts office.
AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The Landscape Architecture portfolio includes a broad range of multidisciplinary public and private realm projects, such as streetscapes, campus design, transportation, green infrastructure and ecological/remediation restoration. Our design practice provides a small studio feel with resources and exposure to a larger multidisciplinary office including civil/site engineering, environmental remediation, architecture, and planning. While our group is based in Chelmsford, we support the New England region, including our office in Boston.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform technical design work of landscape architecture group
Perform construction administration for current and future projects
Prepare construction documents and specifications, cost estimates, and hand and computer drawings (including renderings and illustrative presentation boards)
Project management and coordination
Participate at client and agency meetings
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
5 years of experience
Ability to effectively manage time and self-edit work
Proficiency and passion for creating compelling design, with an ability to develop the work through the technical design phases
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated production and digital rendering experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up and 3D model and rendering skills
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Strong knowledge/interest in plant materials
LEED or SITES Certification a plus
