OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Operations and Administrative Service Division provides high quality Central Bank services and infrastructure to support the security, safety and continuity of Bank Operations. The Division is comprised of five primary business lines: Cash Services, Facilities Building/Planning, & Construction and Design, Law Enforcement, Event Management and Business Continuity.
The Facilities Management Unit’s mission is to deliver high quality, cost effective services, and innovative ideas to the Bank’s management, staff, and customers throughout the District.
SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENTS
The selected intern will oversee small projects from planning to construction; support project managers with planning, budgeting, furniture & finish selections, and construction administration; help manage library resources and meet with vendors.
Enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising junior or senior obtaining a degree in interior design, architecture, construction management or related field; Graduate students will also be considered.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Great work ethic and detail oriented
AutoCAD experience preferred
