Job Summary AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated BIM professional for immediate employment in the Philadelphia, PA office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Work closely with the BIM Manager to support the in-house general transportation engineering - civil surface design discipline teams with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training Communicate with team leaders from various design disciplines for consistent BIM execution for coordinated project delivery Collaborate and coordinate efforts of multi-discipline teams across various offices in multiple cities Assist in development of BIM implementation and execution plans, marketing materials, and project qualifications statements Assist BIM Manager with developing and delivering customized training to various design disciplines Disseminate and support document control of standards, policies, guidelines and protocols related to BIM Work independently, and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines Oversees the production of civil engineering aspects of projects Provides technical direction to and mentors civil engineers Ensures corporate quality procedures are followed Meets client quality, schedule, and budget expectations Interacts with clients and oversees sub-consultants Assists Project Managers with various tasks including developing scope, schedule, and budgets for projects Minimum Requirements High School diploma 4 years of experience Understanding of the practice of civil engineering and construction Experience in multiple elements related to highway design Extensive knowledge and application of AASHTO, PennDOT, DelDOT, and PA Turnpike Commission design standards Experience in a multi-discipline design or construction environment with small-to-large project delivery Solid understanding of BIM standards (national and international), guidelines and protocols Mastery of Bentley SELECTSeries 4 Products including: MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads Designer, GEOPAK, Descartes, Context Capture, ProjectWise Administration Proficiency with Bentley Leap Bridge Products (Concrete and Steel), OpenBridge Designer, RM and LARS Bridge Platforms Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with point-cloud based 3D-modeling Knowledge of contractural delivery methods Excellent management, planning, organization and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field Active Professional Engineering License Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D, Navisworks Manage, and ReCap 360 What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
