What You'll Do

You will join the industry leading Partner Marketing team to provide strategic leadership for our product architecture and solution to our 60k partners across the organization. To help us lead marketing to the next level, you will refine and innovate on persona-driven, integrated omnichannel marketing that will drive measurable business outcomes for our partners and their customers.

Your success will come from the close relationships you’ll build with our primary stakeholders in the global partner organization to understand partner opportunities and challenges, and the segmented go-to-market strategies, enablement and incentives that we need to help them drive… to, through and with our partners.

Working closely with the Architecture Solution marketers in the respective business units, you will lead a team of marketers to build the most effective marketing strategy, tactics and messages to enable our partners to successfully sell Cisco offerings across the entire customer lifecycle (Choosing, Using, Loving).

In-depth Partner insights – ability to provide an outside-in perspective on our partners’ business and motivation to effectively create relevant partner value propositions in our marketing content, campaigns and communications.

Business and technical understanding – Lead team through the transformation Cisco is driving from Products to Services with Recurring Revenue. Use strong business and technical knowledge to find opportunities to drive aggressive business growth and deliver Marketing return on investment.

Marketing Innovation – Use automation and programmatic capabilities in an environment of testing and optimization. Be agile in a fast-changing, resource constrained environment

Work towards results – execute relentlessly to deliver desired business outcomes

Team leadership - Cultivate an innovation culture that recognizes team creativity.

Strategic Relationships - Evolve the marketing operating model by establishing effective relationships with business partners

Who You'll Work With

The team works with partners, internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to drive marketing strategies that help partners achieve business outcomes and grow Cisco’s business. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and agile team that is undergoing an evolution of its practices and skills to become more integrated and automated using a digital/ omni channel approach where practical, so our marketing becomes more personalized and effective.

You will be a strategic partner to the Global Partner Architecture Solution leadership team, and your counterparts across Global Marketing and Communications. You will work across our global and country teams to apply all that Cisco can offer to our partners. You'll partner with our product marketing and portfolio teams to develop strong messages for our partner audience.

Who You Are

You are a passionate Marketing leader and who leads through insights driven by data. You are an authority in digital and traditional marketing and familiar with the ways our partners market to their customers and how they prefer to be marketed to.

You understand, through firsthand experience, the challenges of marketing complex IT solutions across all segments of the marketplace, through direct, partner and distribution channels.

You're an extraordinary people leader who thrives in a matrixed structure and creates a thriving team environment.

You have 8 years of B2B Marketing and Communications leadership experience, preferably in tech.

You have 5 years of partner marketing experience

You have previously led a team of 5 direct reports.

You have a consistent record of accomplishment in building and leading sustainable high-performance teams.

You possess demonstrated digital marketing success.

You have career success in large global brands.

You have built enticing content to partners as audience, and crafted content to articulate value proposition to them around product and solutions portfolio.
