Are you an experienced electro/mechanical test technician who is looking for a long term employment opportunity? Do you have understanding of complex electronic and mechanical assemblies? Are you proficient in use of oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and basic hand tools?

Long term Full-Time Test Technician- Austin, TX:

They focus on manufacturing quality fixed gas detection equipment for residential, commercial and light industrial applications.

Job Duties:

Repair and service existing customer returns.

Responsible for performing the set-up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting and integration of instruments and mechanical assemblies.

Determine and development of test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.

Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.

Report to General Manager.

Job Requirements

Minimum 3-5 Years test technician related experience.

Proficient in use of oscilloscopes, soldering irons and basic hand tools.

Understand complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.

Requires High School diploma or its equivalent.

Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, kneel, and lift (both lateral and overhead).

Accurate in work - attention to detail.

Safety conscious at all times.

Ability to interact with individuals from all backgrounds.

Strong work ethic - dedicated to getting the job done.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Ability to take and PASS pre-employment drug screen test and criminal and work background histories.

Schedule Requirements:

Schedule is 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Additional hours and/or days are based on demand.

Hours are not flexible - schedule is set.
