This technical sales position is responsible for preliminary project design and planning, estimating, customer  demonstrations, and customer proposal development working under direct supervision of a sales team leader and\/or  sales manager. Cultivate new business in conjunction with customers\/partners Educate customers\/partners on all Schneider Electric Building Automation Systems, Security Systems and field devices. Call on and build relationships with customers, contractors, engineering and architectural firms. Act as a liaison between Branch Office staff and customers\/partners. Initiate sales process, pre-qualify customers\/partners and coach sales through to order. Preparation of sales proposals, estimates and take offs. Lead and\/or participate in sales presentations. Process and analyze feasibility assessments and\/or all bid documents. Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations. Coordinate and\/or participate in trade shows and marketing\/sales seminars.   Qualifications   This job might be for you if: EDUCATION: Four (4) year college degree required or equivalent work experience EXPERIENCE: Two years sales experience required Two years technical experience preferred, but not required REQUIREMENTS & ABILITIES: Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent organizational skills Good understanding of HVAC, access or other building or electronic control systems   We seek out and reward people for being straightforward, open, passionate, effective and challenging the status quo.
