OverviewnMead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior aviation project manager to join our group. Our project managers lead project teams in the delivery of architecture, engineering and planning services on a wide range of facility types such as airport buildings, local, state and federal government facilities, industrial facilities, university buildings, and specialty facilities. This position will support our projects in the Detroit, MI area.nResponsibilitiesnResponsibilities include: managing projects of all sizes for scope, schedule and budget; leading and coordinating the resources and activities of project teams; maintaining client contact; participating in strategic and operational marketing activities; preparing scoping documents, pricing and fee estimates; drafting contracts. Travel will be required.nQualificationsnThe successful candidate must have the following:nn a professional degree in architecture, engineering, or other related field from an accredited college or university n at least 7 years of relevant technical experience, ANDn at least 2 years of project management experiencennORnn if no degree, must have at least 13 years of relevant consulting experience including technical work and managing projects.nnThe ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: managing scope, schedule and budget on medium to large projects including but not limited to local, state, and federal government; industrial and manufacturing; healthcare and/or research facilities; managing project invoices and accounts receivable; working directly with clients, including marketing to obtain future work; leading quality control reviews; mentoring less experienced staff; proposal development.  Professional license in architecture or engineering and/or certification in project management is a plus.n nIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at ****Mead & Hunt will not sponsor a visa (H-1B, etc.) for this position.n n nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
