**Position Title** Project Specialist/Deputy Project Manager I/II

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Work directly with the NY Metro Area senior management team, assisting the Project Managers in this region
Perform financial, economic and qualitative data collection and analyses of a variety of projects and programs across multiple business lines, including, but not limited to, Transportation, Water, PMCM, Buildings Places, Environment, Power and Industrial
Create and manage spreadsheets and databases
Create reports and presentations in both Excel and PowerPoint, and perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, business / financial planning, and operations
Responsible for collecting data and preparing various forecasts on key Project and Program financial metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis across the entire NY Metro Area project and program portfolio
Monitor the status of projects and programs, with the ability to understand their relationship and potential impacts to both operational and financial performance
Support corporate initiatives and projects and attend meetings with NY Metro senior management to track and follow-up on action items
Conduct research and analysis, prepare reports and make recommendations based on findings
Coordinate with Business Lines and corporate departments to collect and analyze data to prepare reports required by NY Metro senior management
Support Project Managers in developing reports in Excel-based company software systems
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
No experience required for level I
3 years of experience required for level II
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, high-proficiency with Excel
Ability to work with different levels of both technical and administrative personnel
High comfort level with quantitative analysis, particularly under tight time constraints
Excellent communicator including the desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers
Ability to prioritize tasks with a commitment to completing tasks with urgency and within established deadlines
Working Knowledge of industry software such as Oracle- Primavera P6 software, Revit, etc.
