A design role that cultivates opportunities through design, project management planning and customer interaction with the support from related teams. Community involvement through various professional affiliations.\r
Approximate Time Allocation: Design (40%); Project Management (40%); Client Interaction (10%); Networking (10%)\r
\tPresent a consultative approach with clients to create customized product and service solutions based upon observation and clients communicated needs. \r
\tBuild confidence in client relationships to promote and sustain long-term relationships.\r
\tOutline and present project expectations and timelines.\r
\tManage project timelines to support a successful project and gain client satisfaction. Some of the tasks within those timelines include: \r
\tField measurements, floor plan layouts, and inventories.\r
\tProduct specifications and applications\r
\tPersuasive proposals that support the clients vision\r
\tSpace Planning\r
\tPreparing installation drawings\r
\tConsistently communicate, and execute company business practices and procedures.\r
\tEnsure timely and orderly communication of information to project teammates\/partners as well as clients.\r
\tConsistently develop expertise and knowledge in order to remain progressive in delivering successful workplace solutions.\r
\tServe as SBI ambassador within the professional community (networking), communicating our strategic vision and value proposition to cultivate professional relationships and support long term client growth.\r
\tOn larger projects, communicate and share design or project management responsibilities with support teams.\r
\tBachelor’s degree in interior design or architectural studies. Interior Design degree preferred.\r
\tDesire to participate in networking opportunities\r
\tCreative and professional presentation and communication skills\r
\tAbility to research and relate observations into successful business opportunities.\r
\tAbility to produce work in a detailed and accurate manner.\r
\tWell-developed written, oral and presentation skills.\r
\tIntermediate-level computer skills, including AutoCAD and\/or other design programs. (SketchUp, Revit, and other 3D modeling and rendering programs.)\r
\tDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.\r
\tStrong communication skills.\r
\tWell-developed planning and organizational skills.\r
