Job Description
This Director is responsible for the successful and profitable management of clients in accordance with Company and customer performance and quality standards. Primary Responsibilities: Initiate projects, including identification and analysis of preliminary needs, budget considerations, time and resource estimates and defining the project scope and objectivesEstablish direction and structure for the project, clear operating procedures, precise objectives and a logical basis for timeframes and budgetsWork with Business Development team in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and attending meetings with customers as Subject Matter Expert in SA and AE areasEstablish, monitor, and manage annual and monthly project budgets and forecast reportsManage weekly operations meetings with all markets performing work for clientActs as the primary project level interface to daily customer in regards to general inquiries, issues, and updatesAssist in the evaluation and selection of local subcontractors as needed for A&E deliverables in accordance with established proceduresEstablish and monitor installation schedules and delivery prioritiesDirect the project team, manage the work effort and track the progress against the project planReview designs, drawings and project specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirementsComplete local estimates and tender submittal packagesAll other duties are requiredSupervisory Job Duties: Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Company's objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with HR to resolve escalated employee matters. Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university plus minimum 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience: Minimum of 10 years of wireless telecommunications development services project management experiencePMP or equivalent experience in project management requiredThorough beginning to end understanding of the development cycle and critical path managementDirect knowledge and experience in select domain expertise (RF, Site Acquisition, Zoning, Construction, A&E, regulatory compliance)Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and drive customer satisfactionProven track record in setting up and implementing wireless telecom turnkey projectsStrong in the negotiation of leases within the wireless telecommunications industry Technical Skills: Must be able to comprehend legal documents such as, but not limited to, legal descriptions, surveys, ground leases, easements, deeds, land purchase contracts, mortgages, title policies and CAD drawingsAbility to provide quality audits for project and site specific documentationAdvanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint Soft Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsTime management skills; must be able to meet deadlinesDetail oriented and ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentInterpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with customers, co-workers, and representatives of other agenciesStrong understanding of Selling, General and Administrative Expenses (SG&A), Profit and Loss Statement (P&L) Physical Requirements: May be required to work long and unpredictable hoursMust possess valid driver's licenseTravel up to 80% of the time, including short notice travel. Travel may include local site travel or national travel depending on training needsSitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a dayWorking on a computer for 6-8 hours a dayEOE
