AECOM’s Asset Management Team provides facility and utility analysis, life cycle cost engineering, and capital investment recommendations. Specific services include: asset management planning; asset inventory and barcoding; facility condition and risk assessments; business process and software system services and integration; program management; capital planning; and asset management training and implementation. While the facility condition assessment work follows defined process and precedents have been set, employees are expected to plan and organize their work in a logical sequence, and work within a team structure.
Responsibilities and skills include:
Knowledge of and experience with facility condition assessments
Knowledge of and experience with principles and practices of architectural systems, project prioritization, and building programming
Knowledge of and experience with decision-making procedures within an asset management program
Leading and working with project teams
Investigation, research, and analysis
Skill in creative problem solving
Skill in written and oral communication, including the ability to describe architectural systems
Effectively manage and resolve conflicts between individuals/groups with differing interests
Experience with diverse building types and construction materials and methods
Prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
Effectively communicate within project teams and client stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, architectural engineering or a related area
3 years' experience
Excellent written/oral communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Experience coordinating with the field team, performing site surveys, and completing site observations
The ability to work with, interpret, and apply National and Local Codes
Familiarity with IBC and NFPA
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
Strong working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD
Knowledge of cost, schedule, and constructability of potential projects
Familiar with Codes of Practice and Design Standards
