Welcome, and thank you for checking in about the opportunity to join our team as a Regional Manager- Facilities.
Responsibilities include managing capital improvement and facilities projects at JFK and LGA airports inclusive of space planning and programming, site selection, design management, construction management and relocation logistics. Communicates with all levels of Delta personnel from executives to entry level employees. Coordinates and manages real estate professionals, architects, engineers, program managers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers while also preparing and managing budgets and schedules, writing RFPs and defining scopes of work in order to successfully deliver capital improvement projects at both airports. Delivers facility projects safely, on-time and on-budget. Responsible for managing significant project work load as well as coordinating with airport redevelopment project and facility maintenance teams. Heavy interface with Legal, ACS, Cargo, Network, Tech Ops, Marketing and other business units.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Facility Management. Five to ten years professional work experience in construction management, project management, or design, with aviation-related design and construction management. Must possess proven project management, strong technical, analytical, mathematical, organizational, decision making, and administrative skills. Should possess strong financial, coordination and communication skills. Must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Must perform with a high level of accuracy. Must be proficient in use of software including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and capable of using AutoCad and MS Project. Should possess excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
