The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Change Capital Vice Presidents and is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting financial data for certain Change Capital portfolio companies. This person will also assist with special studies related to those businesses and financial statement preparation. The Senior Manager is also accountable for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of their work.
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
Prepare financial reports of key operating and performance metrics for Change Capital portfolio companies
Assist with financial questions and analysis requests
Assist in the preparation of Annual Budgets for portfolio companies
Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports as well as other areas of Finance/Accounting, Operations as needed
Some travel may be required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the critical tasks listed above satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Several years prior consulting experience supporting portfolio of corporate entities (Big 5 preferred).
Knowledge of accounting and / or finance principles and quantitative analysis skills.
Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports and statements.
Previous audit experience would be helpful.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy in work; and time management and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Access proficiency is a plus
PeopleSoft experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from a four year college or university, and three to five years of financial analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Accreditation(s) a plus.
