We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the construction and/or renovation of iconic urban projects currently in the Detroit Metro area.

Develop project execution plan
Delegate tasks and lead project team members to successful completion of project tasks
Project profit / loss responsibility
Manage cash flow
Quantify major work activities and evaluate progress
Develop project schedule and incorporate changes with an emphasis on mitigating impacts
During a serious project problem, lead the Project Team in developing a recovery plan
Lead the development of value-engineering ideas
Establish labor and material budget from an estimate
Monitor, manage and maintain budget
Develop complete Bid Packages to include thorough scopes of work
Oversee project specification review
Lead project drawing review for completeness and constructibility
Evaluate Subcontractors in accordance with Corporate Process
Assess collective and individual training needs for the Project Team
Establish and implement RFI processes, Drawing logs and Shop Drawing Logs
Establish and maintain an open issues (unresolved items) matrix. Be able to bring open issues to closure
Review, negotiate and approve extra work quotations from Subcontractors; Prepare and negotiate extra work quotations with Customers
Implement a process that goes from Outstanding Work lists through Punchlists, Owner Walk-thru's and Training
Perform Employee Evaluations
Conduct pre-bid meetings, pre-award meetings and pre-construction meetings
Develop and implement the customer specific invoice process
Facilitate implementation of the subcontractor invoice / payment process
Minimum of 18-20 years' experience in commercial or Industrial construction
Held position of PM / Senior PM for 10 years
Must have been the lead on several projects with managed contract values of 75M
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or construction-related discipline - or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Customer service / performance focus
Strong computer skills and knowledge of industry construction methodologies and processes
Ability to communicate ideas effectively, inspire, and lead the project team
Ability to troubleshoot problems on job-site and spot potential deficiencies or problems before they become major issues
Although current projects are local, future projects may require extensive travel
