Job Description:

Desired skills and expertise:
Completion of five or six-year architectural degree program, or engineering program or related field or equivalent experience
10 plus years of professional experience; experience required in all phases of project work including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents and supporting materials
Licensed Architect or Engineer or equivalent status in a related profession
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of architectural practice
Demonstrates experience in leading of teams in the completion of architectural projects
Demonstrates practical knowledge of building materials, detailing, construction techniques, building systems selection, related engineering principles, sustainability strategies, construction cost structures and building codes
Demonstrates practical knowledge of space programming and functional adjacencies, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, security engineering etc
Shows awareness of latest industry wide initiatives, technologies and processes in the A/E/C community
Demonstrates understanding of the application of digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Digital Project/CATIA, 3dsMAX, Navisworks, Solibri, scripting and programming in the execution of architectural projects
Demonstrates practical knowledge in word processing, presentation programs such as PowerPoint and spreadsheet programs and demonstrates ability to lead presentations, seminars, discussions etc. with large groups
Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with the ability to build quick rapport with all levels of employees, clients, consultants and vendors
Demonstrates strong analytical skills as well as abilities in problem identification, problem solving and conflict resolution
