FA Operations & Engineering Lead (Experienced)

We are seeking a Facilities Engineering & Operations Lead.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
Lead the design and development of the Center processes and the end-to-end performance assurance system including the organizational structure.
Analyze process design to reduce costs, improve work efficiencies, customer satisfaction, and performance.
Design, develop, and document work processes to include primary inputs, outputs, and expected work methods.
Comply with process design standards; ensure professional quality, consistency and end-to-end integration.
Integrate procedures, forms, checklists, job aides, and reference materials to detail and enrich process documentation.
Ensure requirements are integrated into affected processes. Coordinate with the Requirements Management Lead to implement new regulatory and corporate requirements including DOE/SSO (DOE Orders and applicable government regulations), the corporation (the SNL prime contract, corporate Policies, Processes and Procedures), and other external organizations.
Use the Facilities web-based Process Management System relational database application to associate information including programs, plans, roles, processes, procedures, forms, and corporate policies to ensure a centralized, accurate, integrated relational process information
Develop and maintain roles and responsibilities for all roles designed into the processes and served up in the process management system
Review legacy procedures; eliminate redundancy and duplication with the intent of simplifying the management system.
Using the process design as the basis, support Facilities Information Management staff and suppliers in configuring work flow software.
Participate in and support Audit and Assessment activities.
Lead and support Lean/Six Sigma events.
Provide input to the Process Owners, Chief Process Officer and FLT.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Lead; participate in developing the Center performance metrics and performance targets.
Analyze process design using process management and quality improvement methods to streamline process flow and improve integration in order to improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, increase work efficiencies and improve overall performance.
Prepare quarterly status report of progress, issues, and concerns.
Communicate process and system changes.
Assist in training the organization on revised processes and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business or other field related to process coordination or assurance plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience applying risk, process and assurance-related practices.
Broad understanding Facilities activities. Understand Maximo and Tririga.
Assist Center 4700 as Process Coordinator to assist leadership and management in Centers 4700/4800 with Assurance activities and processes; including Structured Improvement Activities and assessments, corrective actions, training, and resource acquisition.
Ability to independently prioritize and complete multiple and competing assignments. Proven ability to work in a team-focused environment and exercise discretion.
Demonstrated success in communicating with staff and managers.
Demonstrated excellence in a customer service environment.
Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
The Strategic and Technical Operations department teams with Facilities leaders and managers to improve customer satisfaction through their use of the Facilities process-based Quality Management System (QMS). Utilizing the QMS processes and tools ensures consistent and predictable results. The department helps plan for business needs, supports major initiatives, and provides centralized resources for requirements management, risk management, publications, process design, training, measures and metrics, audits and assessments, corrective actions, lessons learned, communications, information technology, records, and continual improvement.
