Applicants for this full-time position (formerly known as Intern Architect Level 2) must show successful project documents production experience, demonstrating technical knowledge, professional skill and sound judgement on adaptive reuse projects. Applicants should have experience measuring and documenting field conditions of existing structures and developing successful design documentation to repair, restore and renovate existing buildings. Applicants are required to demonstrate additional skills and experience including but not limited to the following:
Capacity to work with other staff in developing technical drawings of the Schematic, Design Development, Bid Document and Construction Phase deliverables;
Coordinating with Project Architects and Project Managers to ensure efficient use of resources through all phases of work;
Ability to work with Project Managers to develop and maintain deliverable content and overall project schedule;
Successful individual time management, and assisting Project Architects in the overall time management of a project team, through all phases of project development.
The successful applicant must demonstrate ability to pass knowledge to others and support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also key responsibilities.
At a minimum, 2-year degree, Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited institution preferred
Minimum of 1 to 3 years practicing architecture with mid-to-large projects production on existing and historic buildings
Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD; MS Word, Excel and Adobe platform
Not required but preferred
