The School of Architecture
invites applications for a full-time faculty position
in Los Angeles commencing August 2018.
will have a terminal degree in architecture and a record of outstanding achievement in teaching, practice and/or research. Consideration will be given to candidates in the following areas:
Beginning Design Pedagogy, and/or Digital Design and Fabrication.
are expected to teach studio, either at the graduate or undergraduate level, as well as seminars and/or lectures within their area of expertise, conduct research and/or professional practice, and participate in the shared governance of the School and University. Successful candidates will also have academic administrative experience and a demonstrated connection to professional/cultural organizations. Rank and salary are commensurate with teaching and professional experience. Woodbury University does not grant tenure.
The architecture program
in Los Angeles offers a 5-year B. Arch (NAAB accredited), a 3-year M. Arch (NAAB accredited) and 1-year post-professional M.S. Arch. Our faculty includes internationally recognized and award-winning architects and architectural educators who work closely with students, teaching the skills required to rethink the limits of practice and reimagine the possibilities of our discipline.
Woodbury School of Architecture
offers graduate and undergraduate programs in architecture, interior architecture, and landscape architecture. The School of Architecture takes Southern California as a site for critical architectural investigation. Our programs prepare students to be entrepreneurs, architect citizens, and cultural builders. We develop innovative learners who are adept at communicating and willing to cross the boundaries of knowledge in a rapidly changing and complex world.
