Job Description-Responsible for supporting firm's nationwide re-branding program, which is major national remodeling / modernization initiative for it's North American stores.-Primarily responsible for architectural branding, with a focus on signage and branding on the exteriors of the stores.-Responsible for reviewing technical drawings (roof plans, building elevations) that are created by A/E vendors and ensuring that the signage on the buildings are in-line with corporate brand standards. Specifically will view, mark-up, print, and track changes on the technical drawings in both 2D and 3D.-Will be putting in new counters and placing new boards behind the counters in the cafe. Will be red lining, coordinating with outside architects, and space planning within the stores.-The technical plans they will be receiving from the A/E firms are .PDF files. Will take the .PDF move to Autodesk Design Review (similar to AutoCAD), where they can review and red line the plans and elevations to ensure proper branding and signage (dimensions, location, etc.) is accurate.-Firm has a \prototype\ design that applies to a majority of their restaurants that the candidate will follow. The guidelines are fairly fixed, however there is some flexibility within that framework.-Candidate will be in a supporting role to the project managers within the department, helping take workload off their shoulders. The project managers will be the ones who have the client contact.Qualifications-Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Architecture; 2-4 years of experience-Experience producing construction documents: elevations, sections, details, etc.-Can have a background with space planning instead of traditional architecture-Must have experience with facilities design-Experience with marking up and redlining -A plus if they have commercial/retail/restaurant experience-Kitchen design experience is a plus-Residential experience is not applicable and will disqualify-Desire to work on the client/owner side (vs arch firm)-Proficient in AutoCADAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
