Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees.\r\rDuties & Responsibilities\\:\r\rMaintain building management system (BMS) compliance with BIVI SOPs and current industry requirements.\rProviding administrative services, such as end user access and training, to ensure conformance.\rPrimary resource for automated HVAC and utility system problem solving\rDevelop and implement system, facility, and production improvements in alignment with End User and strategic needs\rAssist in Development of preventive maintenance procedures and reliability based activities\rTrack the utilization of BMS support functions\rDetailed design of BMS controls documents for new installations and renovations.\rProvide programming, graphic design and system testing of controlled systems\rProvide support for BMS upgrades\r\rRequirements\\:\r\rBachelors degree in Engineering/Control Systems or professional training\rStrong understanding of building and process automation systems, and related Biopharm industry validation / GMP issues.\rGeneral knowledge of electronics, electrical wiring and communications equipment, HVAC equipment, and central utility equipment.\rGeneral knowledge of mechanical maintenance and construction of buildings, utility piping systems, production and facility machines. Ability to read drawings.\rMaintenance or Engineering experience in pharmaceutical or biological industries is preferred. Understanding of GMP requirements. Familiarity with Good Engineering Practices, Commissioning, and Qualification.\rFive (5) years working experience in multiple maintenance/engineering fields, i.e., project management, validation, electronics, refrigeration repair, boiler operation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\r\rWillingness to meet with and communicate with a diverse population, including vendors, consultants, BIVI functions, etc. Communication in all forms (face-to-face, telephone, video, and written) is extremely important.
