We are currently seeking a Graduate BIM Model Manager to join our growing buildings business and work with design engineers from Structural and MEP design teams. Responsibilities: As a new Graduate BIM Model Manager, you will learn and apply the following: \u00b7BIM management principles with regard to model integrity, maintenance of templates and families, applications of best practice for data management \u00b7BIM Modeling, CAD drafting, and use of Excel and databases for data manipulation and interoperability between BIM and analysis tools \u00b7Apply logic and common sense to determine which of a wide variety of database\/CAD\/BIM applications is the most efficient and optimized approach to solving technical or geometric problems \u00b7Manage the use of Modeling software to support engineers and BIM designers engaged in analysis and production work related to the design of various building types (high - rises, schools, museums, airports, etc...) \u00b7Introductory training to company standards, including visual styles, discipline deliverable requirements and software capabilities \u00b7Detailed training and use of a variety of software through on the job use \u00b7Multi-disciplinary coordination within the 3D BIM models, helping to resolve interdisciplinary conflict \u00b7Work closely with engineers and BIM Designers to create and issue drawing sets, including setup, quality assurance of model fidelity, documentation and archiving \u00b7Work with design teams to implement and support Building Data use and manipulation within models and for export\/import interfaces with other programs. This role focuses on the management of BIM models and the use and manipulation of data that resides within them.It is not primarily a design or production drawing role.
