to work on construction administration of inspiring and significant projects in and around Los Angeles, California.
Duties And Responsibilities
Extensive knowledge of Types I, III, & V construction including/garnered towards mixed-use projects;
Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and other CA processes;
Manage construction administration of multiple projects through construction closeout;
Experience with construction documents, budgeting, scheduling, estimating and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors;
Is able to calmly handle high-pressure situations and able to work well with different teams/contractors
Desired Skills And Experience
15 years of relevant experience as a Project/Construction Manager;
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or equivalent is required;
Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications;
Licensure is required;
Excellent supervision, management and communication (verbal/ written) skills;
Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and Revit;
Working knowledge of Plangrid, Procore or similar CA tracking programs
Working knowledge of building, fire, and accessibility codes;
Working knowledge of the City of Los Angeles Building Department permit process
