What You Will Do:
Performs operational discovery and directs Analyst resources who might participate in operational discovery processes.
Coordinates, oversees, participates in and validates the build activities of the Clinical Lead and Analysts to ensure tasks are completed according to the project plan and scope.
Performs charting tool build as needed.
Creates and updates all documentation related to the implementation as required.
Trains practice staff on Epic functionality and workflow.
Supports the Team Lead in working with the practices as needed.
Attends Steering Committee meetings to provide status updates and also participates in resolving any concerns post meeting.
Participates in Go Live support.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years in healthcare application configuration / build experience, at least 2 years configuring / building either Epic ambulatory EMR or an Epic comparable EMR (GE, NextGen, EClinicalWorks). In addition to the experience requirement, either a healthcare operations or technical (IT) background, demonstrated ability to understand user requirements and translate them into system build. Good interpersonal and interviewing skills. Knowledge of the project life cycle gained through active project participation. Epic certified or “credentialed” in Ambulatory EMR preferred.
