The Strategic Sourcing
Specialist – Properties (Store Remodels and Transformations), p
rimarily supports store transformations and remodels. High cross-functional based projects working with construction, architecture, and design teams amongst others.
Source and/or negotiate a highly similar portfolio of typically high volume and non-complex products and services with tools, processes, and strategies to drive and achieve business results in the following capabilities:
Supplier Sourcing and Portfolio Management (create and maintain portfolio of available and preferred suppliers and proactively manage contract expirations and renewals) Supplier Relationship Management (identify and establish relationships with credible suppliers and create a mutually beneficial relationship)
Contract Management (create and manage contracts, managing and monitoring compliance, and reducing exposure to risk factors)
RFX and Bid Management (evaluate bids, pricing, scope and specs. Negotiate, award and contract).
What will you do:
Perform Procurement functions:
Partner with Procurement Operations team to ensure a total sourcing and procurement solution is delivered to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.
Support end-to-end source-to-pay process through best practices and procurement tools. Utilize operations support to deliver optimal outcomes
Support communications with cross-functional areas in establishing and sustaining this function, ensuring compliance in the use of sourcing and procurement services
Support Category leadership with category management activities
Understand and apply 7 step sourcing process, Procure to Pay, and business goals.
Understand contract templates and appropriate application. Can articulate implications and tradeoffs of key terms.
Has ownership and understanding of their sub-category(s) contracts/projects and understands their full lifecycle.
Understands and complies with cross functional requirements and processes
Reconcile issues with partners by identifying root causes and providing creative solutions.
Lead, influence and support cross-functional partners when needed.
Prioritize incoming requests, effectively escalate issues and contribute to resolution.
Works effectively cross functionally and with stakeholders.
Flexible and agile to support similar categories and processes.
Self-Development /Management:

Basic Qualifications
0 – 3 years of Procurement related experience to include sourcing, negotiation and contracting or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Supply Chain or closely related field or equivalent
1 years’ experience working with general contractors (GC), architecture firms, and sub-trades (electrical, flooring, painting, etc)
3 years’ experience in Procurement or Buying
Intermediate PC proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
