Equinox seeks a Planning Manager who will engage in feasibility studies, creation of design deliverables and management of project administration for new site development. The Planning team works closely with Acquisitions to ensure Planning Manager will be expected to design and create space plans for new clubs as well as coordinate architectural, structural and acoustical consultants. The team works closely with many other stakeholders in the company.
This role reports into our Senior Manager of Planning and sit at our headquarters in Flatiron.
Head due diligence efforts, coordinating internal teams and external consultants
Assist in lease negotiations and creation of design related exhibits
Create site diagram, space plan, and section study for prospective locations
Prepare presentation packages for Design, Acquisitions, Committee, and other internal meetings
Review projects with internal stakeholders for approvals
Lead in developing, maintaining, and tracking design standards, project summaries/timelines
Create coordination documents and sketches
Assist in site evaluation and analysis
Degree in Architecture; Master's in real estate a plus
Five plus years' experience in architecture, design, and project management
Must have strong verbal, written, and communication skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Sketchup
Must be able to work independently
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
