ArchiCAD Jobs description
An archicad designer is responsible for preparing designs for various buildings, monuments, or construction equipments. Typical duties of an archicad designer include making use of archicad software in designing architectural models, working closely with engineers and architectural staff, visiting construction sites, making schematic drawings, preparing designs for interiors and exteriors of building projects, preparing various different views of the same building project, checking for architectural design errors, reworking on the models designed, meeting with clients, taking feedback from clients, and making relevant changes. An archicad designer typically reports to a design manager.An archicad designer should have a degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering with a background or working knowledge of ArchiCAD software. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience as an archicad designer may be advantageous. Strong technical knowledge in architectural engineering may be helpful.
