Designer Jobs description
An architectural designer position in the field of architectural engineering may be available with an architectural design firm, architects, contractors, builders, construction companies, or other companies in a similar business. An architectural designer is responsible for visiting construction sites; preparing schematics and layouts, making use of designing software; designing, drafting, and coordinating workload with engineering staff; interacting with the client, subcontractors, and team members; performing contractor construction submittal reviews and request for information documents; attending training sessions or meetings; and performing other tasks as assigned by the architectural manager. An architectural designer typically reports to an architectural manager.An architectural designer should have a bachelor\\\'s degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering. Excellent academic credentials are required. Familiarity with designing software like AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, BIM or others is essential. Prior experience gained from a designer position may be advantageous. Excellent presentation skills are an advantage.
