The university you choose should also be an accredited one. After this undergraduate degree, you can then apply for a Master's degree in architecture that takes around two and half years to complete.

Another option is to complete a general bachelor's degree, then complete a degree in architecture at the Master's level. With this option, the Master's program will last for a minimum of three years.

Afterwards, at least a one to three-year internship program should be completed. Your classroom based and workplace training program should be able to teach you how to create and design using a variety of software such as AutoCAD software. The architect will also need to complete professional examinations to qualify for architect vacancies and become licensed as an architect.

From this point on, the detailed training for chief architect jobs involve more than ten years of experience working in this job role beyond that of a regular architect.
